Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga is no trend! This multi faceted workout is here to stay. After all, this combination of mind, body and water is an incredible experience … even for the beginner paddler or the beginner yogi.
The NSP 10’2 boards are very stable and the sea conditions on West Bay are typically very calm. The water is crystal clear and very accessible from the beach. Expect about a half hour of paddling for our classes and a half hour of yoga. We also like to save five minutes or so for a swim.
Your instructor, Michael Sutherland is a seasoned waterman and 200 level yoga instructor as well as the originator of Yen Yoga on East Front Street. His laid back approach allows expert yogis as well as newbies to experience SUP Yoga at their own pace. Indeed, Yoga is so about where each of us is at – no expectations.
